ACE Equipment Rentals carries a deep inventory of professional-grade Hilti tools and concrete equipment for the contractors who cut, drill, break, grind, mix, and place concrete every day across the Quad Cities. Whether you are running a small concrete restoration business, a full-service masonry crew, or a flatwork specialist managing multiple pours per week, we stock the specialty equipment that lets you say yes to more jobs without owning every tool in the catalog.
Our Bettendorf, Iowa location at 3466 State Street stocks a deeper Hilti inventory than most regional rental yards. Most of our concrete tools come straight from Hilti’s pro line — the same tools the big national contractors run on commercial sites. Open Monday–Friday 7 AM–4 PM. Reach us at (563) 271-4732 or hello@rentaceqc.com.
Tear-out and replacement is the bread and butter — old patios, driveways, sidewalks, basement floors. Crews come in for the saws to score clean lines, jackhammers to break up the slab, and plate compactors to prep the new sub-base. Repair work uses our grinders and breakers for surface prep and selective demo. Core drilling jobs — anything from running plumbing rough-ins to drilling for anchors and rebar — pull from our extensive Hilti core drill and bit inventory. Decorative concrete crews rent floor saws and grinders. Restoration and resurfacing pulls the entire lineup of grinders and surface prep tools. Foundation and structural work uses our heavy-duty breakers. Masonry restoration crews lean on rotary hammers and breakers for tuckpointing and stone work.
If your job involves concrete, masonry, brick, block, or stone, we likely have a Hilti tool that makes it faster and easier than what you currently own.
Concrete Saws. Our hand tool inventory includes the full Hilti DSH and DCH saw lineup: the DCH 300-X electric cutter for indoor, dust-controlled cuts; the DSH 600-22 12-inch battery cut-off saw and DSH 700-22 12-inch battery saw for grid-free job sites and quieter operation; the DSH 700-X 14-inch gas saw and DSH 900-X 16-inch gas saw for deeper cuts and outdoor flatwork; and the Hilti Floor Saw Cart DSH-FSC to convert the gas saws into a walk-behind floor saw configuration for long, straight cuts.
Core Drills and Bits. The Hilti DD 150-U Diamond Core Drill handles holes up to 150mm in wet or dry mode. For larger holes and heavy commercial use, the Hilti DD 250-CA Diamond Core Drill steps up to bigger diameters with the same precision. We carry the matching core stands — DD 150-U stand and DD 250-CA stand — plus a deep inventory of core bits: 2×17, 3×16, 5×16, 6×17, 8×17, 10×17, and 12×17.
Concrete Grinders. The Hilti DGH 150 Concrete Grinder preps floors for coatings, removes coating overspray, smooths spalled surfaces, and grinds down high spots. The dust-extraction-ready design works with dust collectors to keep job sites cleaner — critical when working in occupied buildings.
Jackhammers and Breakers. Demolition power scales to the job. The TE 2000-22 cordless jackhammer gives you cord-free operation for floor breaking. The TE 2000-AVR electric jackhammer is the standard floor breaker for medium-to-heavy demolition. For the toughest tear-outs — thick slabs, foundations, reinforced concrete — the TE 3000-AVR heavy-duty electric jackhammer brings serious power. Smaller-scale breaking and chipping uses the Hilti breaker line: TE 700-AVR, TE 800-AVR, and TE 1000-AVR.
Rotary Hammers. For drilling anchors, rebar holes, and electrical penetrations through concrete, we stock the full Hilti rotary hammer range: TE 7-C for light-duty work, TE 30-AVR for medium-duty drilling, and TE 50-AVR for serious hammer-drilling. Cordless options include the TE 60-22 cordless rotary hammer and the TE 70-ATC/AVR Rotary Hammer.
Compactors. A good concrete pour starts with a properly compacted sub-base. The Wacker Neuson plate compactor (tamper) compacts gravel, sand, and asphalt to spec. For excavator-attached compaction in trenches, the 35G Plate Compactor mounts to our mini excavators.
Concrete Mixers and Placement. Mix small batches on site with the 3.5 cu ft Kushlan electric concrete mixer. For mortar and grout in masonry work, the Essick Mortar Mixer EM90SH8 handles bigger batches. Move concrete from the truck to the form with the Canycom Track Buggy Pivot Dump — tracked operation means it works inside structures and on muddy ground where wheelbarrows fail. Once the pour is in place, consolidate it with the Hilti 4-22 cordless concrete vibrator.
Heavy Equipment for Demolition and Excavation. When the job involves removing more than just the slab — basement undermining, large drive removal, building demolition — bring in the right heavy equipment: the Mini Excavator 35G or 50P (COI required) handles foundation excavation. Pair with a breaker attachment: 35G Mini Ex Breaker HH40C or Full Skid Breaker HH40C for serious concrete demolition.
Hilti depth most rental yards do not match. If your crew runs Hilti tools, you already know the quality. Our inventory means you can rent the same brand and model you own — whether your TE 2000 is in for service, you need a second one for a bigger job, or you are deciding whether to buy by trying ours first.
Maintained for production work. Concrete tools live hard lives. We service ours between rentals so they show up to your job site ready to cut, drill, and break — not ready to be returned for warranty work.
COI discount built for commercial contractors. Most concrete crews already carry a commercial general liability policy. Bring or email a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance to hello@rentaceqc.com and you save 10% on every rental moving forward. See COI Requirements for details.
Bigger rentals for bigger jobs. Multi-day demolition projects fit our 24-hour, weekly, and monthly rates. Same Day works for repairs and quick cuts where you just need the tool for the afternoon. We will help you price the duration that matches your actual project — see our Rental Policies.
Set up your business account on the first visit with a photo ID, 50% deposit, and your Certificate of Liability Insurance. Future rentals can be reserved by phone and ready when you arrive. For project-based work, we encourage you to call ahead — high-demand items like core drills and large breakers go fast during paving and demolition season.
Delivery is available throughout the Quad Cities for the equipment that you cannot transport in a service truck (large breakers, core drills with stands, compactors). See our Delivery & Pickup page for area coverage. For pickup at our Bettendorf shop, see our Location page for directions.
Our concrete and masonry customers work across the Quad Cities and surrounding region. We deliver to Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, and the surrounding Iowa and Illinois communities — LeClaire, Eldridge, Riverdale, Pleasant Valley, Silvis, Milan, Coal Valley, Hampton, Port Byron, Cordova, Princeton. Picking up at our shop? We are at 3466 State Street, Bettendorf — easy I-74 access and plenty of yard space for trucks loading up heavy equipment.
Do you stock blade and bit consumables? Yes. Diamond blades, core bits, and consumables for the Hilti tools are available — call ahead so we can confirm what is in stock for your project.
Which equipment requires a COI? Large equipment like the Mini Excavator 50P and the Vermeer Vacuum Excavator require a COI. Most of our Hilti hand tools do not — but providing a COI saves you 10% on every rental, so most commercial customers send one in regardless.
Do you accommodate same-day pickup? For most equipment, yes. Call (563) 271-4732 in the morning and we can usually have your gear ready within the hour, depending on demand.
Can I bundle multiple items for a project rate? Yes, especially for multi-tool concrete demo projects (saw + jackhammer + compactor + breaker). Call for custom bundle pricing. More answers on our FAQ page.
Cut, drill, break, or grind — the right Hilti tool depends on the material, depth, and conditions. Here is a quick guide:
Cutting concrete or asphalt: For indoor work or sites needing dust control, the DCH 300-X electric cutter runs clean. For grid-free or quieter operation, the battery-powered DSH 600-22 or DSH 700-22 12-inch saws handle most flatwork. For deep outdoor cuts or fast through-cuts on driveways and slabs, the gas-powered DSH 700-X (14-inch) or DSH 900-X (16-inch) bring the cut depth you need. For long, straight cuts, drop a gas saw into the DSH-FSC floor saw cart to walk-behind the cut.
Drilling holes (mechanical or wet): For 1–6 inch core holes, the DD 150-U with the DD 150-U stand is the standard. For holes up to 12 inches or commercial production work, step up to the DD 250-CA with the DD 250-CA stand.
Breaking floors, walls, or foundations: Light-duty breakers (chipping, surface prep, small demo) use the TE 700-AVR or TE 800-AVR. Medium-duty floor breaking and tear-out: TE 2000-AVR or its cordless sibling the TE 2000-22. Heavy-duty foundation or thick slab demo: TE 3000-AVR.
Drilling anchors and rebar penetrations: TE 7-C for small-diameter holes, TE 30-AVR for medium-duty production drilling, TE 50-AVR for serious anchor work. Cordless options: TE 60-22 and the heavy-duty TE 70-ATC/AVR.
Modern concrete work demands dust control — for occupied buildings, OSHA silica compliance, and worker comfort. Most of our Hilti tools support dust extraction or wet cutting/drilling. The DCH 300-X, the DGH 150 grinder, and several of the cutting saws are designed to integrate with dust collectors. For wet operation, the DD 150-U and DD 250-CA core drills run in wet mode with a portable water supply. Bring your own dust extractor and water tank, or ask us about availability. For interior work in finished spaces (think basement floor cuts, anchor drilling in retail buildouts, or anchor work in offices), this dust/water strategy is the difference between a happy client and a customer-relations issue. Plan ahead.
The Hilti DGH 150 Concrete Grinder is one of our most underrated rentals. Surface prep for epoxy floors, removal of coating, smoothing spalled or pitted concrete, and de-greasing all benefit from grinding. The Crain 710 power flooring scraper handles glue-down tile, vinyl, hardwood, and adhesive removal — saves serious back strain on commercial flooring tear-outs.
