At ACE Equipment Rentals, our team walks every first-time renter through proper operation of the equipment before they leave the lot — controls, safety features, how to load and unload, fueling, and what to watch out for. This is especially important for heavy equipment like skid steers and mini excavators, where the controls vary by machine.

If you are an experienced operator, you can skip the walkthrough — we hand over the keys, confirm fuel and any accessories, and you are on your way. For commercial customers who run our equipment regularly, we keep notes on file so we know who needs the walkthrough and who does not.
