The Mini Excavator 50P is our largest, most powerful mini excavator and the rental class where we require a valid Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) from the renter. The reason is straightforward: bigger machines can cause bigger damage. A 50P has the dig depth and lift capacity to hit underground utilities, damage adjacent structures, or cause serious bodily injury if misoperated.

A COI protects both the renter and ACE Equipment Rentals against the financial consequences if something does go wrong. Most commercial contractors already carry general liability insurance that meets the COI requirement — just list ACE Equipment Rentals as a certificate holder.

Without a COI, you can still rent the Mini Excavator 17G or 35G — both are excellent machines that handle most residential and small commercial excavation. To rent the 50P, email your COI to hello@rentaceqc.com before pickup or bring a copy when you arrive. Bonus: the COI also saves you 10% on every rental.
